This video is an attempt to show what I have achieved during the Black Omen sidequest in my Low Level Game challenge. There's an abundance of stuff to show here, so if you get lost read this description. The first thing I show are my levels. These are the lowest levels you can get in this game. MoreThis video is an attempt to show what I have achieved during the Black Omen sidequest in my Low Level Game challenge. There's an abundance of stuff to show here, so if you get lost read this description. The first thing I show are my levels. These are the lowest levels you can get in this game. I wouldn't have shown this, but one of the viewers commented on the previous videos, expressing doubt on the subject whether my levels are low enough. I have followed a FAQ in order to make absolutely sure I haven't got even a single character leveled higher than it is possible. Boss battle: Mega Mutant. This mutant, the easiest of the three, has very heavy hitting attacks. In order to survive, we take adequate measures - go all out-offensive. Robo has his Crisis Arm, which does more damage when the last digit of his HP is bigger, and so we enter with HP that ends with 9. We also have the best strength-increasing accessories and this is why Robo's and Ayla's double tech deals such huge damage. Crono helps to take out the bottom and dies shortly. If both parts are alive, the mutant starts the battle immediately by attacking an entire party, which Ayla and Robo *barely* survive, so this strategy is the way to go. Once the bottom is down though, things get easier. I then show some the charming I've been doing in the Black Omen. I Charm Speed Tabs, which are essential to make the game finishing party of Crono, Marle and Robo quicker. Furthermore, I steal accessories that enhance my HP by 50% and cut MP use by 75% respectively. Very useful in a low level game. Now I charm a Tubster for Power Tabs. This is a long process and may take quite some time. To max Crono's and Robo's strength, we need approximately 170 Power Tabs. This actually took less than an hour with the emulator's fast-forward function. In the video you can see how much damage Crono does before having his strength boosted and after that. As you may have noticed, his damage potential only doubles - weapons play a bigger role than stats in this case, but this is essential for the final bosses nevertheless. Then I Charm the four Ruminators for Megalixirs. They will be of great use in the future boss battles, so I don't stop until I have 99. In the next battle I will show my battle against a very hard boss, the next mutant.
